Senior Associate - Cost Engineering

1.     Support in the review process of contractors and sub-contractors accruals, invoice payments, purchase orders, material deliveries and other financial data.

2.     Support in the implementation of projects work breakdown structures (WBS) in coordination with Project Executives in order to accurately pinpoint cost elements.

3.     Support in the collection and compilation of progress, cost data and cost control worksheets and reports in coordination with projects’ teams.

4.     Support in the periodic cost estimation, monitoring, forecasting and reporting process including but not limited to labor, materials, equipment and contingencies in order to adequately track spending and ensure alignment with approved plan.

5.     Participate in the development of cost risk analysis on all projects in order to incorporate all potential risks and develop accurate cost related reports.

6.     Participate in the audit and review of contractors and sub-contractors cost control procedures and practices to ensure compliance with required standards.

7.     Maintain an organized database of cost related documents used throughout project delivery including but not limited to budget reports, managerial accounting reports, performance reports, contracts and bills of quantities in order to allow for efficient access to cost documentation when required.

8.     Participate in periodic progress meetings with the project teams, contractors and sub-contractors to gather cost-related information and insights required for the job.

9.     Support in the development of periodic reports including but not limited to budget and risk mitigation for all Area Development projects and share those reports with relevant QDC PMO stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Management, Accounting or related field
