Director - Finance Transformation and Ramp up

Job DescriptionEssential Duties And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance leadership to define and execute financial transformation strategies and initiatives that align with Qiddiya's vision and objectives.
• Collaborate with senior executives and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable finance transformation initiatives.
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to implement changes in finance processes, systems, and operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support optimum automation of finance processes within the organization for Qiddiya and its subsidiaries, and assets.
• Support the finance technology team towards the development of overall financial systems landscape (system architecture) and implementation roadmap to achieve requisite financial systems backbone.
• Perform fit-gap analysis of the existing system functionalities, identify areas of improvement and guide on recommendations action plan
• Lead on enhancement practices and ad-hoc initiatives related to systems, compliance & governance
• Identify areas for process improvement within the finance department and develop action plans to streamline workflows, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall efficiency, including Lead the implementation of DOAs for Qiddiya Group/Entities/Assets and ensure proper execution and embedment of approvals in the system.
• Identify the optimization and standardization opportunities for processes across the finance department and enhance organization design, processes, systems to reflect best practices processes.
• Design documents, workflows, KPIs to ensure adherence and effectiveness of processes
• Plan and implement ramp up of finance functions for the new group entities and assets from the legacy operations and implementation of specific and niche processes and systems.
• Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and consultants to leverage their expertise and resources in implementing finance transformation initiatives effectively.
  

Qualifications

• finance and/or strategy degree
• Finance, Accounting, and /or FP&A certifications/qualifications (CMA, CPA, CA, ACCA, or similar).
• Experience in a fast-paced environment ideally with real estate or entertainment industry.
• Project Management Degree/Diploma or Certificate.
• Exposure to SAP ERP is preferable.
• Extensive knowledge of finance processes, systems and systems-based compliance.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and IFRS.
• Knowledge of regulatory & compliance
