Assistant Manager - Security Operations

General Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Manager - Security Operations Develop a security infrastructure road map aimed at mitigating security vulnerabilities and strengthening overall security posture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1- Establish proper controls with the aim to proactively safeguard sensitive and confidential data.
2- Conduct testing and troubleshooting activities and recommend actions to be taken in relation to security infrastructure components.
3- Develop IT Security incident reports required by internal and external stakeholders and provide recommendations as needed.
4- Ensure the implementation of Cyber Security policies, processes, and procedures as required and use best practices and standards recommended by National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA).
5- Define and describe the required actions to protect networks in the event of a disaster or emergency.
6- Develop a strong zone interface security (FW/IDS/IPS, perimeter/edge defense) architecture, centralize firewall management strategy
7- Identify,plan, design, and document network and security initiatives in support of Enterprise Network, Wi-Fi, Unified Communications, Data Centre and Cloud solutions.
8- Develop the IT annual security plan including security programs/projects and ensure alignment with the overall IT strategy.
9- Evaluate networks, subsystems, components, controls and security criteria for vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
10- Monitor and manage the overall security posture using appropriate tools and technologies.
11- Perform security monitoring, data/log and forensic analysis to proactively detect security incidents and threats.
12- Responsible for the design and delivery of office LAN and collaboration network features and solutions
13- Produces and Maintain network High-Level and Low-Level design documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.

Years of Experience

4-6 years of experience in the field.
